How it works Knowledge
Katalizator samochodowy zawiera ceramiczną lub metalową strukturę plastra miodu pokrytą katalizatorem, zwykle kombinacją platyny, palladu i rodu. Kiedy spaliny z silnika przechodzą przez strukturę plastra miodu, katalizator wspiera reakcję chemiczną, która przekształca szkodliwe zanieczyszczenia w mniej szkodliwe związki, zanim zostaną one uwolnione do powietrza.
