The heart of this part of the company is the SPECTRO XEPOS energy-dispersion X-ray fluorescence spectrometer (EDXRF). The operation of the device is based on the measurement of radiation intensity and wavelength emitted by a given element after excitation with X-rays. Thanks to our extremely accurate calibrations, we are able to precisely determine the high minded metal content of ceramics and carry out a reliable analysis of the monolith.
Thanks to our machines we can carry out very accurate analyses of each catalyzer. We eliminate deviations caused by e.g. inaccurate cleaning of tools. The part of the laboratory where the grinding and crushing is carried out is separated from the rest by a dustproof wall with a door, which allows to keep the testing equipment in full efficiency.
Thanks to the excellent Retsch vibrating mill, each sample is then interspersed and sieved through a sieve. The homogeneous grain size and the absence of larger pieces eliminate measurement errors that can occur with non-homogeneous grain sizes. Each batch of material is also thoroughly mixed using a HexagonAlphie mixer. Our laboratory is testing catalyzer for our product catalogue. For this application we have a crusher and mill from the leading Retsch brand.
